I think I'd rather piss out a kidney stone than buy a home again. It's a confusing, stressful, overwhelming process. Best refi experience I've ever had, would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!! They deserve 20 stars!! Dez, Bryson, and Keenan, did an excellent job on getting me the best options possible, and fast. I tried to refinance with another company, after hitting road block after road block, I called Dez, and she got back to me immediately. Throughout the whole process, someone from CFG home loans, would call me everyday, with an update on my status. Everytime I would answer the phone to one of them, the news about my loan always got better. This is because they were always working hard to get me the best possible loan, all the way up to the closing date. They are very great people to work with, and they won't let you down!

You hear the horror stories of refinancing a house. I didn’t refinance earlier because of them. I’m glad that I took the leap and went with CFGHomeLoans through the referral of my sister. Jerad Brereton helped me with my loan throughout the whole process. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and so very helpful with any questions that I had. Believe me, I had many. He never left me hanging waiting for an email, or phone call. He made sure I understood the details of my loan and even called me to let me know my loan was funded and asked if I had any additional questions. He got me a killer rate when other loan processors didn’t feel it was profitable enough to refinance my house since the balance wasn’t as high as some others may be. I would highly recommend the company he works for and have passed his name to my friends. I also spoke with others who help on the team and not surprised that I got the same treatment from them as well!

Update: Alan got back to us and made it right. Review changed to 5 stars for following up with us with very favorable terms on closing our refinance. We are very happy after finishing up our refinance and would go back to CFG again. When we bought our house nearly four years ago, CFG was great to work with. Everything went relatively smoothly, we got a good interest rate with no closing costs- perfect for first time home buyers. 3 stars, however for our most recent experience with refinancing. Everything was going well and we were happy with our rate and terms. Then the process took a little longer than expected and our rate expired after we had done everything we needed to to finish refinancing. Alan said he was trying get in touch with our lender to extend our rate lock so we could close and then... crickets. We tried several times to get into contact with either Alan or RJ and they have been completely unresponsive. We were ghosted, I assume because we hit a hitch in the process. Not that I would know, because they won't respond.

Alan Blood and Colleen Ford were instrumental in getting my partner and I the best possible rate on our first home. They guided us through the entire process and re-explained things 2 or 3 times whenever we needed, including some basic home-buying questions that should really have been answered by a realtor, which we didn't have in the beginning. Great experience with my first home loan! I was worried and worried that my student loans would prevent me from getting a home. It seemed like they were going to until I was referred to CFG Home Loans. I had very good credit and enough income to get a house but a lot of student loans after finishing grad school 3 years ago. Banks and credit unions have to follow rules about using 1 percent of students loans for debt to income ratio and that 1 percent was disqualifying me. These guys were able to find a few lenders who were willing to lend to me based on credit, 3 percent down, work history, income, and taking a first time home owner course. We got the same or very close to the same interest rate we would have gotten from a bank. RJ was the one that mainly worked with me and was very very very helpful and never made me feel dumb for asking question after question. He told me I could put him on speaker during closing. He made himself available at all times and made our first purchase of a home as pleasant as buying a home can be. Alan was great to when he needed to step in while RJ was on vacation or confirm any numbers. RJ even met me off the freeway on a Saturday when we were headed to SLC and needed to have him sign something we needed and we needed to get him something. Great business and customer service! Their receptionists were even very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!!! Oh and for the negative review that included Dillan, he doesn't work there anymore and that must be why. He never got back to me with an answer I needed when I first contacted CFG in July. Once I started in working with RJ in November it was much better!

Capital Financial Group company is the worst, I've had nothing but issues with them this is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. Capital Financial Group has the most incompetent team I ever came across, they are nothing, but empty promises and waste of your time DO NOT DEAL WITH THOSE BROKERS. We were given a pre-approval letter by Capital Financial Group loans in August 2018 to buy a house that is as far that they can do. I provided some documents repeatedly because Daillan Lewis repeatedly losing my documents. Every time I call to confirm whether if certain documents had been received or to get information I needed each time several different people and different answers. For the past months I’ve received terrible customer service from this company. I don't understand why you would wait till last to minute ask for certain documents. I LOST $3500 because of Capital Financial Group due to lack of knowledge. This company is the worst!!! FIND YOURSELF A BANK DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.

Alan Blood (and Dillan Lewis) and Capital Financial Group are great. We bought our first house in November. We did our research but we knew there was plenty we didn't know about successfully closing without extra costs. We met Alan at an open house and decided to go with him even though we had been talking to another lender who was a friend of the family. We constantly pestered Alan and his team with questions about everything. We were concerned at the numbers we were being given by his team and double and triple checked closing costs with them. Alan even had to help the sellers we were dealing with correct their numbers to complete the sale because the appraisal came in low and they didn't know how they could drop the price. He was a great team player with the realtors to get us in our home. We were a little frustrated at one point when responses weren't as quick as we hoped but we felt like we could trust Alan and he came through. He showed great integrity at the end of the day because our math on the closing numbers was actually right. His team had made a mistake in their estimate but he covered the difference. Alan did a great job for us and really guided us through the process and he is an honest guy. We happily recommend him.

Dillan is great to work with! We had a hiccup with our loan due to the city records reflecting a different home type than originally thought. At the last minute it looked like we were't going to be able to close, but because Dillan was willing to put in a lot of extra time and effort for us we were able to close on time. Alan and his team were incredibly helpful in educating us about the lending and escrow process during our first home purchase. They were able to help us figure out exactly what we could qualify for, and were always responsive. When we did finally put in an offer, they were able to get us a pre-approval letter to go with our offer that was individualized to the property and the purchase details we were offering, which our Realtor said was very helpful in having our offer accepted. Kyle Koller is awesome you have got to give this guy a call. He never stopped in getting us qualified for our new home. We were unsure if we could get a home because we had been told no once before.
